Speaking at the event, Chairman of Deutsche Bank Australia & New Zealand John (JT) Macfarlane said, “Whilst the business community faces considerable challenges, my colleagues from around the world envy us here in Australia for our economic stability and the way we emerged from the global financial crisis. No other developed country is better positioned than we are and this gives us a competitive advantage.
“The Australian and Deutsche Bank Business Leaders Forum gave us the opportunity to hear from some of Australia’s most senior business leaders and I feel inspired by their vision, aptitude and importantly, their understanding of the opportunities before us.”
