Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Tim Baker as the Head of Equity Strategy in Australia.

Tim has been a valued member of Deutsche Bank's equity strategy team since April 2007 and has played a critical role in developing the strategic work undertaken by the team over the last three years. In particular, he was a key member of the equity strategy team that rated No 2. in the 2009 Peter Lee survey.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Tim was an economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia for five years, providing analysis of domestic and overseas macroeconomic developments, as well as researching trends in selected industries.

Tim holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (1st class honours in economics) from Griffith University.
