Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Duncan Simmonds to its Australian emerging companies equity research team effective 30th July.

Simmonds joins existing emerging companies analysts, Neil Watson and Paul Hinds, in assuming coverage of a broad range of stocks which fall outside the large capitalisation ASX100 equity index. Deutsche Bank currently covers more than 75 Australian listed emerging companies.

Simmonds joins Deutsche Bank from Lodge Partners, where he was responsible for a team of analysts covering small and mid capitalisation Australian listed companies across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, engineering and construction, infrastructure, transport and telecommunications.

Simmonds is a Chartered Financial Analyst and was awarded the Securities Institute of Australia State Prize for the highest mark in Victoria for Financial Markets Economics in 2002.
