Deutsche Bank today announced the appointment of Ross Brown as Head of Equity Research for Australia & New Zealand, replacing Tim King who has decided to leave the role and take a one year sabbatical to travel overseas with his family.
Ross Brown, the current Head of Financial Institutions company research has worked at Deutsche Bank since 1997. Ross is consistently one of Australia’s top rated Banks analysts and will maintain his existing company coverage in his new role.
Tim King joined Deutsche Bank in 2002 as Head of Equity Research and has successfully built a strong research capability with 37 analysts covering 172 companies. Commenting on the succession, Deutsche Bank’s Head of Global Markets, Michael Ormaechea said; “Maintaining a dominant position in equity company research is a core strategic priority for Deutsche Bank. Tim has established and developed a highly capable and well recognised research team. Ross is the natural successor with his direct experience and knowledge of what is important in this part of our business.”
Tim will work with Ross to ensure a smooth transition with Ross’ appointment effective from mid February 2007.
